In this role you will be helping Montefiore blaze a new trail in Telemedicine working with EPIC MyChart. Telemedicine requires a new set of configurations and support models for connecting Epic with Microsoft Teams into the clinician's workflow using Epic Hyperspace, MyChart, Haiku, and EpicCare Link. The Epic product specific build regarding scheduling and workflows of providers and patients, including the support models to achieve a successful implementation and ongoing support. The architecture will EPIC MyChart, HyperSpace, and MS Teams (video platform). Your team will be working closely with EPIC Welcome and Happy Together teams on future growth to My Chart Bedside.

The Product Manager for Health Information Management is a subject matter expert in application systems that support client’s clinical or business functions. Responsibilities include managing new application development and delivery to the client, as well as on-going maintenance per the client Service Level Agreement.


The Product Manager provides high-level input on product design and optimization and is responsible for managing the product infrastructure, monitoring performance and processes, and gathering and implementing user requirements. as well as oversees the requests for new systems, processes, enhancements, or other opportunities and suggests alternatives.


The Product Manager determines the viability of integrating requests for changes with the complete list of customer requests. The Product Manager provides outstanding client service and contributes to the organization’s mission of utilizing information technology to improve patient care.


The Telemedicine/MyChart Product Manager will play a key role in Epic upgrades, implementation of new Epic modules, and all projects that integrate.  

The PM will be involved in leading the Telemedicine build with key focus on Workflows, Resource Management, IT, as well as will be involved in leading the development and/or configuration of a wide range of functions.  He/she will also need to collaborate with other MIT teams involved to ensure projects are accurate, complete, and successful. 




  • Product Management – Subject matter expert for the implementation of a new care management solution; provide high-level input on product design and optimization; provide expert guidance to the team on care management solutions; manage product requests, review requirements and specifications, and work closely with technical teams and end-users to assure high quality
  • Staff Management – Manage assigned resources; Demonstrate effective internal communication and task delegation while providing support and guidance; mentor and identify training needs for team members, ensuring professional development and superior technical expertise
  • Client/Stakeholder Management – Understand customer requirements and impact of system issues; meet with clients regularly and establishes priorities by working with clients and end-users; Works closely with the team to deliver high-quality customer support
  • Issue Management – Control and manage production system issues:  triage issues; conduct detailed impact analysis, root cause analysis, and downstream effects of modifications; implement code fixes, one-time scripts, and data cleanup.  Determine most effective way to operationalize fixes
  • Project Management – Control and manage projects with an end result orientation, including all project phases/tasks as applicable to the project size; Coordinate with project managers responsible for implementation as well as other product managers involved in multi-disciplinary efforts.



  • Minimum 7 years of clinical technology experience in this area of expertise
  • Minimum 2 years of experience managing direct reports including employee selection, performance management, delegation, and motivating and rewarding others
  • EPIC Certification is required - preferred MyChart or Ambulatory
  • Overall understanding of the application systems development lifecycle
  • Extensive knowledge of the interdependencies of technology such as server management and working with external data sources
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Demonstrative understanding of technical documentation
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Highly professional written and verbal communication skills
