BACKGROUND

 

About the Montefiore Hudson Valley Collaborative (MHVC):

The Montefiore Hudson Valley Collaborative (MHVC) is a Performing Provider System (PPS) in the New York State Department of Health's Delivery System Reform Incentive Payment Program (DSRIP). MHVC is comprised of a group of over 200 partnering healthcare organizations, who have come together to improve healthcare across the Hudson Valley through the development of an integrated delivery system.  Working together, we are championing new models of providing Medicaid beneficiaries with higher quality care, while reducing expenditures through enhanced care coordination, community-focused care and education.

The HEALing Communities Study will generate evidence about how tools for preventing and treating opioid addiction are most effective at the local level. This NIDA funded multisite implementation research study will test the impact of an integrated set of evidence-based interventions across healthcare, behavioral health, justice, and other community-based settings in 16 New York State highly affected counties.  The goal is to prevent and treat opioid misuse and opioid use disorder (OUD) and reduce opioid related deaths by 40 percent over three years.

 

Job Title:  Engagement Support and Logistics Manager

The Engagement Support and Logistics Manager will be responsible for coordinating, conducting and evaluating webinars and other organizational engagement events and programs as part of the HEALing Communities grant .  This individual will work closely with the county Training/Supervision/TA Coordinators and the rest of the Engagement Team to make adaptations and revisions to MHVC’s existing topical material and to use Articulate to develop web-based training modules.  The Manager will work with county staff to implement MHVC capacity-building activities and programs and will conduct training programs jointly with county staff as requested.  The manger will also gather and analyze data tracking program participation and uptake.  The Manager will have an MPH degree or the equivalent and 1-3 years of relevant training management experience.  Interest in Opioid prevention and treatment a plus.

 

3 + years of experience as trainer, facilitator and learning professional required.

Valid New York State Driver’s license and car required.

Position requires excellent presentation and facilitation skills. Ability to use a variety of learning/training concepts and principles. Knowledge of adult learning practices. Knowledge of Articulate Leaning Platform.

• Strong written/verbal communication and presentation skills.  Ability to use all Microsoft Office software, including:  Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

• Strong project management skills, including organization of individual and team work; problem solving; adaptability; flexibility; and attention to detail

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and result-driven environment. Ability to prioritize work highly preferred.
