The Senior Manager, Data Warehouse and Integration Services is responsible for managing the planning and delivery of data warehouse services, including source system analysis, source data extraction, data streaming, target database building and data publication. In this role, you enable integrated enterprise reporting for client organizations, leveraging industry leading automation tools and cloud technology. You are proficient in promoting online Analytics, DataOps, Cloud Data Lake and Fabric capabilities through design, architecture and scaled agile methodologies. You provide thought leadership and outstanding client services, contributing to the organization’s mission of utilizing information technology to improve patient care.


The Senior Manager will manage multiple high-visibility projects, prioritize workload, and manage data integration development and operational resources to assure that maximum benefit is realized for the Organization.



  • Lead, motivate, and oversee database designers and the ETL development team through coaching, mentoring, and performance management practices
  • Consolidate and integrate data from several internal and external information systems for flexible but controlled enterprise reporting
  • Develop data standards working in collaboration with the data architecture team in terms of nomenclature, storage, design, and deployments for the DWH
  • Actively participate in Montefiore’s Data Governance process and provide guidance and solutions for EDIM Task Force initiatives
  • Set standards for, train team on and continuously improve data warehousing practices such as source system analysis, data transformation, meta data strategy, data transport, data quality assurance and project estimation
  • Participate in high level work/release planning, including change control, project scoping and estimation
  • Research and introduce emerging data warehousing best practices and technologies
  • Liaise with the Epic product application teams within the information technology organization, and other customer reporting teams across the Montefiore Health System
  • Assist Management Team in process engineering (definition, training and improvement) for all software development lifecycle processes and perform other related duties as required





  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Computer Engineering or a combination of equivalent education and work experience.
  • Minimum of 8 years’ experience with enterprise data warehousing, integration services, healthcare data integration or business intelligence
  • Experience managing a team of database designers, and ETL staff for on-prem and cloud data integration services
  • Experience with building and maintaining an Enterprise Data Warehouse
  • Experience successfully leading complex healthcare data integration and business intelligence implementations
  • Prior experience and demonstrated understanding of industry leading data automation and DevOps toolchain orchestration for Oracle Exadata, Informatica, SQL Server, and MSFT Azure cloud platforms
  • Experience with scaled agile methodologies and rigorous project management skills
  • Strong leadership, project management skills, time management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization
  • Experience participating in executive meetings
  • Excellent presentation and meeting facilitation skills
