SENIOR MANAGER PERFORMANCE IMPROVEMENT

YONKERS, NY, US


Summary:

This position is responsible for providing leadership and project management for the Montefiore Health System Performance Improvement initiatives. Demonstrates extensive hospital operational and business experience by deploying best solution design, implementation planning, risk management, monitoring, tracking and reporting to support achievement targets.  Promotes collaboration of performance improvement across the health system by optimizing and integrating efforts, developing and implementing curriculum for the Performance Improvement Course and Montefiore Health System Quality Collaborative. Collaborates with senior leadership, external consultants, coaches and Project Associates, to ensure successful implementation of all programs, projects and grants across the Montefiore Health System (MHS).

 

Education required-Masters

Length of work experience-7 years

 

Black belt certification or equivalent and demonstrated experience in one or more of the following: IHI's (Institute for Healthcare Improvement) Model for Improvement, Lean Healthcare/TPS (Toyota Production Systems), and/or Six Sigma.

Practical knowledge of CQI tools and techniques.

Strategic planning, leading large scale change management initiatives.

Prior success with Program Management utilizing CQI tools and demonstrated results.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to influence and lead teams.
