Our Clinical Systems Department’s growing Enterprise Data Warehouse group is seeking a Sr. Systems Engineer for our Business Intelligence team. In this role, you will support Montefiore IT’s mission to improve patient care through information technology. The Sr. Systems Engineer works on system builds, automations, installations and maintenance. This includes a range of tasks including account creation, permissions, modifications, configuration, backups, restores, automations, security and governance, and provisioning.  This is an opportunity for someone with hands on Informatica Administration Skillset along with Dev Ops experience with building cross environment automations/promotions strategies in alignment with our current reporting tools like Business Objects, QlikView and Tableau.

This position is based in Yonkers, NY.


Responsibilities include ongoing administration for Informatica ETL platform for the Enterprise Data Warehouse:

  • Monitoring Informatica servers’ platform for performance and availability
  • Management of servers’ configurations
  • User access maintenance including adds, changes and deletions of user accounts
  • Managing Access to Applications and Securing Applications
  • Automations using DevOps technologies for promotions taking our current BI and EDW processes to the next level for CI/CD/CT - Continuous Integration, Continuous Deployments and Continuous Testing
  • Application and management of server licenses
  • Auditing reports development and support
  • Monitoring day to day scheduled jobs
  • Perform proactive performance tuning
  • Troubleshoot performance problems with SAP Business Objects software such as Explorer, Web Intelligence, Universes, Crystal Reports
  • Daily monitoring of document reloads and triage and communications for all failures
  • Discuss performance issues with DBAs and Infrastructure team
  • Provide change management for all production environment configuration changes
  • Maintain and update administrative documentation


Required skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 4+ years’ experience with Informatica administration in an enterprise Windows/ Linux environment
  • 2+ years’ experience with Devops Technologies (for example: Jenkins, Chef, Puppet, Ansible, etc.) in BI data warehouse settings, automations and promotions for Continuous Integration, Continuous Deployment and Continuous Testing end to end lifecycle



  • 2+ years’ experience administering and maintaining  Business Objects reports (Webi and Crystal), BO universes, QlikView, Tableau reporting platform  
  • 2+ years’ experience with Hadoop Big data solutions
  • 2+ years of Cloud deployments and scheduling workload automation experience
