In this role you will be helping Montefiore continue to expand Telehealth initiatives, Epic MyChart (patient portal) and mobile solutions. Telemedicine requires multiple configurations and support models for connecting Epic with Teladoc Health into the clinician's workflow using Epic Hyperspace, MyChart, Haiku, Canto and EpicCare Link. The Senior Application Analyst will guide the Epic product specific build regarding scheduling and workflows of providers and patients, including enhancing the support models to achieve successful enhancements, expansion, and ongoing support. The architecture will be EPIC based. Your team will be working closely with EPIC Welcome, Cadence and clinical teams on the future growth of MyChart.  



The Epic Senior Application Analyst - Patient Engagement will join this exciting team to expand and enhance Epic software to Montefiore Health System.

The Senior Application Analyst will achieve knowledge of the Epic application. Additionally, the Senior Application Analyst performs analysis of workflows, data collection, report details and other technical issues associated with Epic software. This Senior Application Analyst prepares requirement specifications and provides technical assistance in identifying, evaluating, and configuring systems and procedures that meet user requirements. The Analyst will review and test new releases and document all outcomes of testing and serve as the support contact for the application. This position has responsibility within all phases of the application implementation including design, build, test, installation, and maintenance of the application. The Senior Application Analyst provides outstanding client service and contributes to the organization’s mission of utilizing information technology to improve patient care. 



  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, related field, or equivalent experience
  • Epic certification is required in EITHER OR BOTH MyChart and EpicCare Ambulatory (*if not Epic certified upon hire, this will be required within 3 months of start date. Strong consideration will be given to candidates that are not currently certified but can demonstrate ability to become certified)
  • Experience working in a related clinical technical position 
  • Experience in application build and go-live, along with extensive experience in implementation, workflows, troubleshooting, testing, and support 
  • Strong desktop skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint 
  • Knowledge of clinical area or business area to be supported 
  • Experience dealing with end users 
  • Demonstrative understanding of technical documentation 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills 
  • Professional written and verbal communication skills 
  • Strong knowledge of workflows 
  • Excellent critical thinking skills
  • On a rotational basis, provide remote 24 x 7 on-call support
  • On an as-needed basis, provide on-site support within the Montefiore Medical Center hospitals and/or its’ affiliates.



  • Clinical application experience in Epic Ambulatory
  • Programming or other technical skills beneficial
  • Experience in Telehealth with Epic integrated solutions
  • Experience in mobile solutions and patient portals
  • Epic SecureChart
