ADMINISTRATIVE SUPERVISOR

The Administrative Supervisor is responsible for oversight of the Montefiore Behavioral Health Center at Westchester Square, Provider Information, and maintenance of Audits & Reviews. This includes supervision and management of clerical staff, including hiring, firing, disciplinary actions; and staffing analysis including but not limited to the identification for the need and procurement of temporary help. In addition to staffing issues, variance reporting, project coordination for both internal needs as well as with Albert Einstein College of Medicine. This position also responds to all staff status queries and Office of Mental Health database queries. In addition, the position will provide necessary support to the Executive Clinical Director.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee administrative office operations to the clinic in alignment with the mission of the Medical Center, Department and MBHC program
• Compliance with accrediting agencies regulations. (OMH, DOH, and Joint commission)
• Oversee MBHC’s Reporting for Incident Management and scheduling of MBHC Program’s 1st and 3rd year medical student rotation
• Organize Consumer Board meetings at MBHC
• Administrative functions for the Executive Clinical Director of MBHC
• Routine administrative support of Associate Director of Nursing and clinical managers
• Oversee support staff: Administration, Maintenance and Transportation including hiring, training, firing, and disciplinary actions. Monitor sick time, vacation time, and maintain personnel files for above mentioned support staff
• Monitor and serve as liaison with MBHC’s Billing and Medical Records Department for providers
• Coordinate and oversee projects administrative functions related to credentialing, provider information and Audits & Reviews Office, including direct management of administrative clerical staff. Maintain documentation of clinic projects, i.e., intensive outpatient program, applications for all program
• Respond to inquiries from medical staff, clinical & administrative departments, and external agencies regarding credentialing, provider information and Audits & Reviews
• Train and coordinate training for administrative clerical staff on EPIC & manual reporting, and the Public Transportation Automated Reimbursement System
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree Public Health or Public Administration required; Master's Degree preferred
• 5 + years of work experience in similar role
• Proficient writing skills, Microsoft Office, Office Mental Health Communication and Reporting required
