ADMINISTRATIVE SUPERVISOR

The Site Director is responsible for the operations and functioning of a freestanding Opioid Treatment Program, providing methadone maintenance, primary medical care and related services to 700 patients.
Responsibilities:
• Responsible for program operation and the effective execution of all operational functions at the site, including maintenance of census, clinical operations and patient satisfaction
• Oversight of treatment provided to patients, that offers coordinated multidisciplinary services, including group and individual counseling, primary care and psychiatric services.
• Implement policies and procedures to ensure the sound fiscal management of the program in order to maximize revenue and optimize use of resources, including growth of census and services provided and appropriate management of personnel and overtime.
• Ensure adequate staffing required for services provided and regulatory requirements, through recruitment, hiring and coordinating proper training and orientation for new staff.
• Maintain compliance of program facilities, operations and documentation with regulatory agencies, including OASAS, Joint Commission, DEA, DOH and others.
• Engage in continuous quality improvement of program operations and patient care through implementation of CQI initiatives at the site and engaging all staff in the CQI process
• Ensure the provision of ethical, equitable services in compliance with hospital and clinic practices through investigation of any complaints and implementation of necessary employee counseling and disciplinary interventions, as needed
• Ensure patient rights are protected and proper care is provided through review and implementation of necessary patient interventions.
• Maintain appropriate environment of care and ensure facility maintenance through management of housekeeping and coordination with Real Estate, Infection Control and Environmental Health and Safety
• Monitor operational and clinical activities of program, to ensure that all services provided and clinical documentation are consistent with hospital, local, state and federal guidelines
• Maintenance of positive relationship with surrounding community through engagement with local community board, merchants, residents and agencies
• Manage program census, ensure appropriate of admissions and improve retention through completion of screening and intake assessments
• Coordinate with other SATP Unit, SATP administration and other areas of Psychiatry and health system to ensure consistent procedures and improved communication and referrals
• Ensure that methadone and other narcotics are properly stored and protected, in conjunction with federal guidelines and MMC Pharmacy policies
• Supervise execution of SATP procedures for Medicaid-funded patient transportation to and from the clinic to ensure disabled patients can travel and receive care, as needed
• Utilize knowledge of adults across the lifespan to help provide patient-centered assessments and interventions
• Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
• Must have license in Social Work (LMSW or LCSW), Mental Health Counseling (LMHC), Clinical Psychology or another clinical field
• Master's Degree Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health Counseling or related field required
• Experience working with Substance use disorders required
• Must possess good interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a collaborative team environment. Must be organized and able to work well independently. Must possess the ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
• Must demonstrate a knowledge of substance use and psychiatric risk assessment. Must possess knowledge and experience with personal computers and electronic medical records. Must have some experience with management of spreadsheets, including Excel.
• Clinical assessment, diagnosis and treatment of substance use and psychiatric disorders
• Knowledge of OASAS and Joint Commission standards relating to the treatment of substance use
