DIRECTOR PHARMACY OPERATIONS

SUMMARY OF POSITION:

 

Currently, we are seeking a Director of Pharmacy Operations to join our astonishing team. In this high-level role, you will be responsible for all pharmacy-related operations at our Moses/CHAM Campus. From clinical activities such as patient drug therapy monitoring, clinical intervention trending and utilization of decision support software to enhance patient outcomes and medication safety, to administrative duties including staff supervision, budget preparation and management.  Your leadership will drive operational efficiency and effectiveness as well as continuous performance improvement. EDUCATION AND REQUIREMENTS:

 

Qualified applicants have an advanced degree in hospital pharmacy administration (completion of an ASHP residency, PGY2 in Pharmacy Administration preferred).

Valid NYS Pharmacist license and registration is required.

Working knowledge of all applicable standards and regulations is also required, as is experience with clinical pharmacy services, union operations, collective bargaining agreements, investigational drug protocols, The Joint Commission and CMS survey processes.
