EDUCATIONAL ADMINISTRATOR

The Educational Administrator will oversee and coordinate multiple aspects of the ACGME residency training programs and medical student clerkships: including (but not limited to)  recruitment, candidate selection, scheduling, required data and evaluation tracking, accreditation reporting, events management, trainee database management, expense tracking.  The Educational Administrator co-manages these activities with the Residency Administrator and the Internal Medicine Residency Program Director. The Educational Administrator also coordinates with the Internal Medicine Residency Program Administrator and Medical Student Coordinator to ensure that all training (fellows, interns, residents, and medical students) activities run smoothly and without conflicts. The Educational Administrator is the secondary liaison with the House Staff Office, the GME office, the medical school and other training programs to ensure compliance with federal agencies and accrediting organizations.  The administrator collaborates with Department of Medicine administration for reaching institutional and departmental goals and objectives.

 

Requirements 

Bachelor's Degree required

cTAGME certification preferred but not required

Experience with New Innovations platform strongly preferred but not required

Knowledge of ACGME regulations

At least 2 years of experience in graduate medical education required
