Montefiore Medical Center, the university hospital for the Albert Einstein College of Medicine (Bronx, New York), is seeking a candidate for a tenure track, full-time Clinical Hematologist / Clinical Researcher faculty position in our Division of Hematology at the Assistant or Associate Professor Level.
Our ideal candidate will have interests in the care and management of patients with thrombosis, bleeding disorders, complementopathies, hemoglobinopathies, and general nonmalignant hematology. We are a large nonmalignant hematology group, with a funded Hemophilia Treatment Center and a Sickle Cell Center; we maintain a Women’s Blood Disorders Clinic and an Iron Infusion Program. The candidate would be expected to participate in and develop their own clinical/epidemiologic research and/or clinical trials. The position includes clinical practice in both inpatient and outpatient settings, teaching of medical students, residents and fellows. Preference will be given to candidates interested in hemostasis and thrombosis. Academic rank will be commensurate with experience.
Candidates must have an M.D, be board certified in Hematology, and be eligible for a license to practice medicine in the state of New York. We are an equal opportunity employer.
