We are offering an exciting opportunity to join our esteemed team at Montefiore Wakefield Campus, a Magnet designated hospital recognized for its excellence in patient care.
Our Rehabilitation Medicine department is currently seeking a highly skilled Patient Care Associate to provide top-notch care to patients.
The Patient Care Associate is a member of a team dedicated to providing the highest quality care and services to our patients by assisting in such functions as maintaining a safe, clean, and functional environment; assisting with dietary aspects of care; facilitating communication, i.e., answering phones; transporting patients and assisting visitors. As an integral part of the team, the Patient Care Associate is responsible for activities, which promote patient focused care within the Patient Unit.
***Alternate weekends required ***
EDUCATION, TRAINING & EXPERIENCE:
• High School Graduate or equivalent required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required
• Certification in Phlebotomy and EKG monitoring required.
• Graduate of State Certified Program or 1-year clinical experience as a nursing student/foreign graduate nurse.
