PEDIATRIC PULMONOLOGY MEDICAL DIRECTOR

The Division of Respiratory and Sleep Medicine in the Department of Pediatrics at The Children’s Hospital at Montefiore (CHAM)/Albert Einstein School of Medicine is seeking a Medical Director for our clinical operations. Our Division is comprised of 4 physicians and 3 nurse practitioners with projected expansion in the coming year.  The Division has a strong foundation in educational innovation, research, and Quality and Performance Improvement. We also have a premier pulmonary fellowship with one fellow for each year of training. Our division members also serve as core faculty for the pediatric residency program and medical student education.

 

We are looking for a Board Certified/Board Eligible candidate with at least 3 years of work experience after completion of Pulmonary Fellowship who is committed to a career in academic Pediatric Pulmonary Medicine.  The candidate will benefit with excellent planning skills and an ability to work effectively as part of a team. The candidate must be an outstanding clinician dedicated to the care of children with complex respiratory needs, and an excellent educator of learners at all levels. We are particularly interested in candidates who would like to pursue a career as a leader in management of clinical operations.  Additional scholarly productivity expectations will be aligned with the candidate’s interests and the Division’s mission. Academic rank and salary will be commensurate with experience.

In addition to a competitive salary of $240,000-300,000, we offer the opportunity to supplement income with productivity incentives.  LTD, STD, paid malpractice, paid CME, health, dental, vision, 403(b) and a 457 with a match are also offered.
