PHARMACY INTERN PER DIEM - INPATIENT PHARMACY

We are currently accepting applications and interviewing now for several highly motivated students for Pharmacy Intern positions.
Experience will be gained in all aspects of pharmacy practice including progressive clinical programs, EMR systems, sterile product preparation, dispensing automation, critical care, pediatrics and internal medicine. Dispense and compound prescribed medications for patients under the direct supervision of a pharmacist. Labels, packages, manufactures and distributes medications in all areas of the department. Reviews and monitors medications prescribed by clinicians and provides drug information.
EDUCATION & REQUIREMENTS:
High School diploma/GED.
Enrolled as a full-time student in an accredited school of pharmacy.
Completed first professional year of pharmacy school.
Is eligible to receive a NYS pharmacy intern permit.
Must be able to work holidays.
Applicants must be able to work daytime and evening shifts, as well as holidays.
