PRACTICE MANAGER

The Practice Manager reports to the Unified Administrator and is responsible for managing operational, financial and administrative oversight. The Practice Manager will establish and implement best practices to ensure location is run efficiently and business objectives are successfully met. This position will oversee and manage clerical and clinical associates and ensure adequate staffing schedules and coverage, performance metrics and continuous training. This position will be responsible for patient workflow and act as the liaison between associates, patients and providers to increase productivity and patient volume, as well as ensure patient satisfaction. This position is responsible for maintaining all regulatory standards and procedures which apply to the practices of the department to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. The Practice Manager will oversee financial reconciliation to ensure payments are received and monitor the financial revenue of the practice. This position will coordinate with Dentistry managers and leadership to collaborate on practice strategies and processes to run the location efficiently and deliver patient care.

 

The position will also serve as the primary billing liaison for Orthodontia's billing vendor and is the site contact for Orthodontia revenue cycle.

 

Requirements/ Qualifications

High school diploma/ GED Required

Associates degree preferred

Supervisory experience, and/or practice management experience required

Strong communication skills to effectively communicate to Physicians, associates and patients

Financial management skills-(including mathematical concepts and calculations, business planning)
Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
Prior revenue cycle experience or orthodontics practice experience preferred
