PROJECT MANAGER RHIO

This position supports the Chief Operating Officer in tracking and managing multiple complex projects, including coordinating task assignment and tracking of status with staff reporting to the COO. The PM will ensure that all project paperwork is reviewed and executed including contracts, deliverable schedules and required periodic reports to funders. S/He will ensure that staff resource conflicts are identified and resolved, that challenges with timely completion of deliverables are addressed, and prepare and circulate updates on upcoming tasks and deliverables as well as status reports to the COO and ED. S/He will be required to have knowledge of all project content areas to be able to perform these tasks within the small but complex Bronx RHIO infrastructure that combines technical and programmatic work within all projects. This position will coordinate closely with the Senior Project Manager to ensure clear communication on all projects and will take direction as needed from the Sr. PM as well as the COO.

 

EDUCATION/SKILLS:

 

Bachelor's Degree required in Public Health, Project Management, Health IT or related field.   Six years' experience

Health care delivery systems operations and key organizations in the Bronx

Health plan familiarity

Understanding of the complexity of health related data through previous experience with data analysis Project management software competency

Understanding of contract processing and invoicing

Extensive knowledge and experience in grant writing and grants management Knowledge of governmental funding compliance requirements

Knowledge of regulatory environment and requirements for local compliance implementation Full competence in Microsoft Office: Outlook, Word, Excel, Project, Visio, etc.
