RESEARCH ASSOCIATE

The Research Associate will administer and execute Epilepsy and Muscular Dystrophy Association research projects.

The research associate be responsible for all components of research including:  Study start-up and implementing study protocols, educating and training clinical staff on execution of research activities per study protocol, implementing mechanisms to identify eligible patients and their surrogates, recruiting subjects via interviews and informed consent and data collection, processing and storage. The research associate will also manage regulatory affairs including interfacing with central and local IRBs, monitoring/reporting of research compliance and adverse events, maintaining study personnel and compliance logs, interfacing with sponsors and other sites for multi-center trials, overseeing study finances and collecting basic quality data for cerebrovascular patients. The Research Associate must be willing to be flexible with the hours as needed for the study and be able to do some moderate travel for site visiting and training for the multi-center studies.

 

Qualifications/ Requirements

Master's Degree Preferred

Computer literacy and competency with Outlook, Internet search, MS Excel, and MS Word experience with electronic date enter and retrieval systems

Clinical Research experience Preferred

Bilingual (Spanish) Preferred

Human Subject Protection training (Preferred)
