SOCIAL WORKER MSW

The Social Worker at the Butler Center is responsible for conducting intake, psycho-social assessments, forensic interviews, risk and safety assessments and crisis intervention for children from birth to 18 who are suspected of being abused or neglected. The Social Worker functions as part of a medical team dedicated to improving the lives of children and families. The social worker will receive training and supervision. The Social Worker reports to the director of the Butler Center. Excellent benefits, salary commensurate with experience.    

 

Requirements:

  • LMSW/LCSW and New York State license  with a minimum of 3 years’  experience in direct service in a related field with an underserved population
  • Spanish speaking preferred
  • Good communication and writing skills necessary.
