The Rose F. Kennedy Children's Evaluation and Rehabilitation Center (CERC) at Montefiore is nationally recognized multi- disciplinary program that provides a broad spectrum of clinical services for infants, children, adolescents, and adults with neurodevelopmental disabilities.

 

Under supervision, Provides direct patient speech- language therapy including evaluation and treatment as outlined by the guidelines  of New York State Practice and hospital policy. Embraces the team concept of the department and the customer service approach to patient care.  Provides daily clinical supervision of graduate student assistants. Provides services to patients evaluated at the Children’s Evaluation and Rehabilitation Center (CERC), a large multidisciplinary diagnostic and treatment center serving infants, toddlers, and children with an array of development and related disorders from the Bronx, where over 55% of the clinical populations represent Hispanic households.

 

Should have

Experience working with special needs population

New York State License and evidence of pursuit of continuing education and completion of significant advanced training in specialized areas of the field.

Maintains a C of CC in SLP from ASLH

Master's Degree  Speech Language Pathology required

Length of work experience required 3 years
