STUDY SUPERVISOR

The Study Supervisor will coordinate care within multiple clinical trials, serving as a point person for patients and their family members. They will be responsible for the daily operations of the clinical trials, recruitment and ensure strict adherence to the study protocols. The position consists of working with various departments across the hospital to facilitate the startup of new trials assigned to the Study Supervisor and to manage the sites currently enrolling and/or long term follow up of trials. The Study Supervisor will see that all Clinical Trials under their supervision are carried out as per FDA, Regulatory Authorities and Sponsor requirements. The Study Supervisor will work closely with the study sponsor, Office of Clinical Trials, the IRB, the Administrative and Clinical Teams in Cardiology and other departments to ensure seamless flow of trial-related actives according to time, quality/scope and budget constraints.

 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Ensure effective execution of protocols for each trial including collaboration with different departments as necessary. To ensure that company standard operational procedures (SOPs), ICH/GCP guidelines and regulatory requirements are followed.
Manages patient's participation throughout the study until termination within the clinical trial. Maintain accurate records of recruiting patients while safeguarding the confidentiality of subjects, as necessary Collaborates with the PI to ensure proper execution of clinical trials.

 

Requirements/Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree required; Master's Degree preferred
Experience in Clinical Trials required
