TECHNICIAN MRI

BRONX, NY, US


 

 

Under the direction of radiologist, performs MRI Procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical detail.

 

Performs MRI examinations for diagnostic purposes and labels and displays photographic images.

Performs a variety of technical procedures that will require independent judgment, with ingenuity and initiative to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for imaging diagnosis.

Maintains records, images, and the cleanliness of assigned area.

Assumes responsibility for designated areas or procedures as required.

 

EDUCATION AND REQUIREMENTS:

 

High School Diploma, Associate's Degree is preferred.

Satisfactory completion of a formal Radiology technology, MRI training and meets the requirement for certification by the ARRT.

Valid license by the State of New York, Injection registered
