ULTRASOUND TECHNICIAN RD OB CRD VAS

The registered Ultrasound Technologist performs various modalities of cardiac ultrasound, including Transthoracic echo, stress (exercise and pharmacological) echo, including Echo with contrast.
   
Responsibilities include:
 

  • Assist in transesophageal echo
  • Assist in echo guided invasive procedures.
  • Preparation of preliminary findings reports study transmittal as well as perform Bedside Echoes

 
Please note: This role will provide coverage at various outpatient and inpatient cardiology sites as needed.  
 
Education/skills required:
 

  • High School Diploma or equivalent coupled with one (1) work experience required
  • Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS OR RDCS)
  • Requires 30 CE credits per three year rolling triennium to maintain active registered status
  • BLS certified
  • Completion of CAAHEP certified cardiovascular sonography program preferred.
