Montefiore IT is actively recruiting talented professionals for our Infor ERP Finance and Supply Chain Management technology team. Following our recent implementation of Infor FSM, we are building a dedicated team to provide comprehensive support throughout the lifecycle of this essential module.
The Software Engineer working as a Reporting Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining reports and dashboards in the Finance modules of Infor ERP, Infor BIRST and Infor d/EPM. The developer will closely work with Finance business analysts to identify reporting requirements and translate them into technical solutions that support business needs. This role requires excellent analytical skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop effective reporting solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain reports and dashboards in the Finance module of Infor ERP as well as in Birst, d/EPM, Power BI, or SSRS
- Work with the business users to gather and analyze reporting requirements and translate them into technical specifications
- Develop and maintain SQL queries and stored procedures to support reporting needs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency across different systems and data sources
- Participate in testing and quality assurance activities to ensure accurate and reliable reporting solutions
- Keep abreast of emerging trends and technologies in reporting and analytics and incorporate them into the company's reporting strategy.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of experience in reporting development with a strong focus on the Finance module of an ERP system (preferably Infor ERP)
- Must have experience with at least one full software development lifecycle (SDLC) ERP implementation, ideally, with the INFOR ERP Solution.
- Proficient in BI tools such as Birst, Power BI, or SSRS
- Strong experience in SQL development and stored procedures
- Familiarity with database design and data modeling concepts
- Familiarity with Data Lake & data warehouse concepts
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Desired:
- Experience with Infor ERP's Finance module, including GL, AR, AP, and FA
- Familiarity with Infor ERP's financial data structures and reporting frameworks
- Familiarity with ERP applications like SAP, Workday, Infor, D365, Oracle
- Experience with Agile development methodologies
