Montefiore IT is actively recruiting talented professionals for our Infor ERP Technology team. Following our recent implementation of Infor FSM, we are building a dedicated team to provide comprehensive support throughout the lifecycle of this essential module.

 

The Senior Application Analyst - Infor ERP (Finance Configuration Focus) will be responsible for the configuration, customization, and ongoing support of the financial modules within Infor ERP. You will collaborate with finance and IT teams to ensure that the ERP system effectively supports financial operations, compliance requirements, and reporting needs. This position requires a strong background in both ERP application configuration and financial business processes, as well as the ability to translate business requirements into functional ERP solutions.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to implement, enhance, and maintain the financial functionalities within Infor ERP, ensuring seamless integration with other business modules and systems. This is a hands-on role where you will be expected to actively configure the system, troubleshoot issues, and provide guidance and support to end-users.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the configuration and customization of Infor ERP financial modules (e.g., General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, etc.) to meet business requirements and optimize financial operations.
  • Work with business users to gather requirements, design system configurations, and implement financial processes within the ERP system.
  • Perform system setups and configuration for key financial processes, including chart of accounts, cost centers, financial periods, tax codes, and integration with other business areas.
  • Ensure that financial data flows correctly between the finance modules and other integrated business systems (e.g., procurement, supply chain, inventory, etc.).
  • Manage system enhancements and upgrades related to finance functions, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Provide ongoing support for Infor ERP’s financial modules, including troubleshooting issues, identifying root causes, and resolving configuration-related problems.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for finance users when system-related issues arise, providing timely resolutions and clear communication.
  • Proactively monitor the performance of financial processes within the ERP system and work with stakeholders to optimize system efficiency and usability.
  • Work closely with finance and accounting teams to ensure that the ERP system supports accurate financial reporting, auditing, and compliance with local and international accounting standards.
  • Assist with the design and configuration of financial reports, dashboards, and key performance indicators (KPIs) using Infor’s reporting tools (e.g., Infor Birst).
  • Ensure that financial modules are configured to comply with applicable tax laws, regulatory requirements, and internal controls.
  • Support financial audits and ensure that the ERP system supports accurate, transparent reporting and traceability of financial transactions.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, finance teams, and IT teams to understand business processes and translate those requirements into ERP configurations.
  • Support the integration of the financial modules with other Infor ERP modules (e.g., supply chain, inventory, procurement) and third-party systems.
  • Coordinate with developers and system administrators to implement customizations, data integrations, and automations related to financial workflows.
  • Develop and maintain training materials, user guides, and best practices for the financial modules within Infor ERP.
  • Provide training and guidance to end-users on system functionalities, configuration changes, and new processes related to the financial modules.
  • Create and update documentation for configuration settings, processes, and workflows to ensure knowledge transfer and compliance with internal standards.
  • Lead system testing for finance-related configurations and customizations, ensuring that new features or changes are thoroughly tested before deployment.
  • Work with quality assurance teams to develop test plans, execute tests, and document test results for finance-related system changes.
  • Ensure that configurations support business continuity and align with best practices for financial management.
  • Stay current on new developments, features, and best practices related to Infor ERP and finance technologies.
  • Identify opportunities for system improvements or process optimizations to improve the efficiency of financial operations and reporting.
  • Participate in system upgrades, patches, and new version releases, ensuring that the finance modules are maintained and enhanced to meet evolving business needs.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration or equivalent experience.
  • Experience with at least one full software development lifecycle (SDLC) ERP implementation, ideally, with the INFOR ERP Solution.
  • 5+ years of experience in configuring and supporting Infor ERP, specifically in the financial modules (e.g., Infor CloudSuite Financials).
  • Strong understanding of financial business processes, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, and financial reporting.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams to implement, configure, and optimize ERP solutions.
  • Proven experience in financial systems integration, reporting, and compliance within an ERP environment.
  • Familiarity with accounting principles (GAAP, IFRS) and tax compliance requirements.
  • Advanced proficiency in Infor ERP systems (Infor CloudSuite).
  • Strong understanding of financial accounting practices and how they are configured in ERP systems.
  • Experience with Infor Birst or other business intelligence/reporting tools for financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in SQL and experience working with ERP databases for data analysis and reporting.
  • Experience with system integrations, data mapping, and process automation within the ERP environment.
  • Knowledge of data migration tools and methods for moving financial data between systems.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve complex issues.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work closely with business users and technical teams.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality, accurate financial systems configurations.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative, cross-functional team.

 

Desired:

  • Infor ERP certifications (e.g., Infor CloudSuite Financials).
  • Experience with cloud-based ERP systems and data integrations.
  • Experience with Agile project management methodologies.
  • Experience with automation tools and techniques for ERP financial processes.
  • Professional certifications in accounting or finance (e.g., CPA, CMA).
