Montefiore IT is actively recruiting talented professionals for our Infor ERP Technology team. Following our recent implementation of Infor FSM, we are building a dedicated team to provide comprehensive support throughout the lifecycle of this essential module.
The Senior Software Engineer – Data, Reporting and Integrations will lead the design, development, and implementation of custom solutions for data integration, reporting, and business intelligence within our Infor ERP system. You will be responsible for building and maintaining data pipelines, creating automated reports, and ensuring the seamless integration of Infor ERP with other enterprise systems. In addition, you will work closely with business analysts and stakeholders to understand requirements, define solutions, and optimize ERP processes for better data accuracy and reporting efficiency.
This is a hands-on technical role that requires strong coding skills, advanced knowledge of Infor ERP platforms, and a solid understanding of enterprise-level integration and data management best practices.

Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain custom data integrations between Infor ERP (Infor CloudSuite) and other internal or third-party systems.
- Develop and manage data pipelines that automate data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes, ensuring the timely and accurate transfer of information between systems.
- Work with business and technical teams to identify and resolve data integration issues, ensuring consistent, high-quality data across all systems.
- Design and implement strategies for data synchronization, ensuring real-time or batch updates across the ERP environment and other enterprise platforms.
- Lead the development and optimization of automated reporting solutions within Infor ERP, using reporting tools like Infor Birst, Power BI, or custom reporting solutions.
- Develop complex queries and custom reports to meet the needs of business stakeholders across departments, including finance, supply chain, operations, and sales.
- Collaborate with business teams to identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and create dashboards and reports that deliver actionable insights.
- Optimize reporting processes to improve system performance and enhance reporting speed, scalability, and accuracy.
- Ensure reports and data visualizations are user-friendly and aligned with business requirements, supporting data-driven decision-making.
- Customize Infor ERP systems to meet specific business needs, including the development of new features, workflows, and business rules that enhance data and reporting functionalities.
- Collaborate with functional teams to define, design, and implement ERP system modifications based on user feedback and evolving business needs.
- Provide ongoing support for custom applications, ensuring they are fully integrated with the core ERP system and that any issues are resolved promptly.
- Ensure all custom solutions comply with ERP best practices and integration standards, maintaining system integrity and security.
- Analyze and optimize the performance of data integration processes, reports, and queries to ensure high system performance, especially with large data sets.
- Implement and fine-tune solutions for handling large-scale data and complex reporting requirements within the ERP environment.
- Work with system administrators and other technical teams to monitor system health and resolve performance bottlenecks, ensuring high availability and reliability of the ERP platform.
- Work closely with ERP functional leads, business analysts, and IT teams to ensure technical solutions meet business objectives and user requirements.
- Serve as a technical subject matter expert, providing guidance to other developers, QA teams, and business users on Infor ERP data management, reporting, and integration best practices.
- Participate in requirements gathering sessions and design reviews to ensure alignment between business and technical teams.
- Provide post-deployment support and troubleshooting for integrations, data flows, and reports, ensuring that issues are resolved quickly and effectively.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Infor ERP systems (Infor LN, Infor M3, Infor CloudSuite, or similar).
- Experience with at least one full software development lifecycle (SDLC) ERP implementation, ideally, with the INFOR ERP Solution.
- Extensive experience in designing and developing ERP integrations, particularly using Infor ION or other middleware platforms.
- Strong experience in developing and optimizing custom reports and business intelligence solutions within the Infor ERP environment.
- Proven experience with data integration tools, ETL processes, and data pipeline development.
- In-depth knowledge of database management (e.g., SQL, Oracle, SQL Server) and familiarity with cloud data solutions.
- Experience with API integration, RESTful services, and web services.
- Expertise in Infor ERP platforms (Infor LN, Infor M3, Infor CloudSuite).
- Proficient in programming languages such as SQL, Python, JavaScript, and other development languages used for integrations and customizations.
- Experience with ERP integration frameworks such as Infor ION, RESTful APIs, SOAP, and Web Services.
- Strong understanding of relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle) and proficiency in writing complex SQL queries.
- Experience with reporting tools such as Infor Birst, Power BI, or similar BI/reporting platforms.
- Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and data modeling.
- Experience with version control tools (e.g., Git, SVN) and Agile development practices.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality, reliable technical solutions.
Desired:
- Infor ERP certifications (e.g., Infor CloudSuite, Infor LN, or Infor M3).
- Experience with data management and integration in a cloud environment.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management tools (e.g., JIRA).
- Experience with business process modeling and data governance frameworks.
