CLINICAL DATA ANALYST

YONKERS, NY, US


The Clinical Data Analyst will be responsible for analyzing and supporting the databases. The individual will ensure all data is gathered, coded and analyzed, and that troubleshooting is performed . 

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain a centralized database in which all clinical and related project data will be stored.

• Manage data collection, analysis and cleaning, performing regular audits to ensure that the data collected are complete and accurate, and that the research is being conducted as outlined in the protocol.

• Manage analytic activities, reviewing, monitoring, and developing corrective action plan.

• Run analyses, cleaning and preparing datasets.

• Assist in the development of databases and data coding guidelines

• Manage the collection of data from importable and exportable formats

• Manage additions/edits for all databases

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Public health, epidemiology, biostatistics or related field Required

• 3-5 years of related experience required

Master’s degree Preferred

• Strong working experience of MS Excel and statistical operations packages such as SPSS, STATA or R.

• Knowledge of statistical practices

• Outstanding judgment, initiative, and attention to detail are essential

• Must be able to work well in a team setting and independently
