ASSISTANT ADMINISTRATOR RADIOLOGY

BRONX, NY, US


The Assistant Administrator is responsible for the day-to-day operations of Weiler Radiology. Under direction of the Unified Department Administrator and in partnership with the Medical Director, they are responsible for management, business development, and financial management of all services provided at Weiler.  She/he will participate in central Radiology councils to provide decision making and technical expertise for the development of supplies, service contracts, and capital purchases. The Assistant Administrator directly manages the hiring, training, quality oversight, safety, and overall technical performance of staff and serves on the departments and organizational committees. She/he will communicate with physicians, physicists, nurses, radiology, administrators, nurse practitioners, patient advocacy representatives and various members of other clinical and administrative departments, as well as the public.

 

Education and Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Health Science required

Master's degree in Radiologic Health Science preferred

NYS License in Radologic Technology

Five (5) years experience as supervisor of imaging service.

Must be proficient in computer skills
