This positions overall purpose is to establish efficient and cost effective administrative and fiscal practices that ensure the provision of high quality patient-centered care and further the educational and research mission of the Division of Pediatric Cardiology.  The responsibilities of the job include overseeing the coordination and performance of outpatient and inpatient fetal, pediatric and adult congenital cardiology services within the Montefiore Health System, affiliated health systems and practice sites.  Ensuring the fiscal health of the Division and participating in strategic planning to enable the delivery of high quality clinical services and research by the Pediatric Heart Center at the Children's Hospital at Montefiore. This position is responsible for achieving financial objectives for the Division of Pediatric Cardiology by preparing the annual budget, negotiating and reviewing contracts with affiliated sites and research entities, tracking clinical and research income and expenditures, analyzing variances and instituting corrective action in conjunction with the Division Chief.  Other duties include developing and maintaining operational plans that will facilitate the growth of clinical, research and teaching activities of the division to function in a cohesive and synergistic manner. Direct and implement strategies to improve revenue and streamline operational procedures. Collaborate with Division and Department leadership to create and implement short and long term goals for faculty recruitment, finance and divisional operations.




  • Master’s Degree required.
  • Seven years of work related experience.
