ASST. MANAGER INSTRUMENT ROOM

SUMMARY OF POSITION:

  • The Instrument Room Assistant Manager has 24-hour responsibility for directing and coordinating the activities of Instrument Room Attendants engaged in preparation of sterile instruments.
  • The Instrument Room Assistant Manager participates in the budgetary process, tracks and reports instrument expenditures.
  • Establishes and implements auditing and management strategies to assure that instruments are available and in working condition.
  • Maintains sterile processing records according to AORN an AAMl standards.

 

SCHEDULE: 3 PM-11 PM

 

EDUCATION, TRAINING & EXPERIENCE: 

 

  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • CRCST certification required.
  • Must be able to stand/walk for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to lift and/or move heavy objects (less than I00 pounds).
