The Department of Cardiothoracic & Vascular Surgery at the Montefiore Medical Center and Albert Einstein College of Medicine is seeking Board-Eligible/Certified Vascular Surgeons with expertise in both open and Endovascular Surgery to join its academic faculty. Both early and mid-career applicants are encouraged to apply.
Montefiore Medical Center, the University Hospital and Academic Medical Center for the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York City, is the major healthcare provider for a community area of two million people and has the fifth busiest emergency department in the United States. Located in New York City, its proximity to Manhattan and beautiful Westchester County affords a perfect location to enjoy all that New York City has to offer.
The surgeon would join eight full-time Vascular Surgeons with attending responsibilities, operating at two large University Hospitals. Both facilities have ICAVL approved vascular laboratories. The program supports a traditional 5+2 Vascular Surgery Fellowship and an integrated 0-5 vascular surgery residency in conjunction with a large general surgery residency program and medical student education.
In addition to a competitive salary of $405,000-$425,000, we offer the opportunity to make more income with additional call responsibilities and productivity incentives. LTD, STD, paid malpractice, health, dental, vision and a 403(b) are also offered.
