The Retail Manager aids the Director of Food Services in implementing effective management of the Food Pavilion or Cafeteria and Kiosk. Plans, organizes, monitors and controls all activities pertaining to the Food Pavilion, quality improvement, training and development of supervisory staff and associates in the retail service area. Manages the daily activities for a designated administrative function.Prepares and monitors the budget, implements policies and procedures,and monitors program outcomes. Supervises, trains and evaluatesprofessional and support staff. High School Diploma or GED required. Must have a minimum of three years administrative and/or supervisory experience in a food service department.  Total of 6 years cooking experience in a large feeding institution with a minimum of 3 years in a supervisory position required. Knowledge of HACP regulations preferred.
