Montefiore Medical Center is a busy major academic institution serving a diverse urban and suburban population and is the primary teaching hospital for the Albert Einstein College of Medicine.  Montefiore Medical Center is in the Bronx, a short drive or public transit commute from Manhattan and easily accessible from Westchester County, Long Island and northern New Jersey. Imaging equipment is state of the art.

 

The Position and Candidate Qualifications

The Montefiore Department of Radiology is seeking an ABR-certified/eligible radiologist to join the Cardiothoracic Imaging Division for a full-time position. Our team is a collegial group that provides coverage for the Heart Center, Cancer Center, Critical Care, Inpatient, Emergency and Outpatient Imaging.  We are an important component of a growing, ACR-accredited lung cancer screening initiative and both heart and lung transplant programs.

 

Qualified candidates should be proficient in CT and MR for both pulmonary and cardiac indications and have mastery of chest radiography.  CT guided biopsy proficiency is a plus. Mentorship will be provided for highly specialized practice areas and for research. Our staff is responsible for the education and supervision of two fellows as well as the chest and cardiac rotations and curriculum for radiology residents.

 

ABR-certified/eligible fellowship trained Cardiothoracic Radiologist.

 

In addition to a competitive salary starting at $425,000-$525,000, we offer the opportunity to make more income with additional call responsibilities and productivity incentives.  LTD, STD, paid malpractice, health, dental, vision and a 403(b) are also offered.
