CARDIOVASCULAR TECHNOLOGIST

BRONX, NY, US


Performs cardiovascular tests and monitors the heart rates of patients utilizing a variety of procedures and equipment. Assists physicians in surgical and other cardiac procedures.

 

Requirements

B.S or B.A. degree in a related area and/or graduation of an accredited cardiopulmonary school.
Interpersonal skills necessary to communicate with personnel in other departments, as well as patients in the institution.
Previous Cardiopulmonary Lab experience is preferred but not required.

Must have the BLS certification before hire .

RCIS preferred but required within 2 years of hire.

Must be able to move from Campus to Campus for training and beyond.
