This position is responsible for providing project management support for infection prevention and control. This position is responsible for designing, implementation and evaluation of clinical and administrative reports for infection prevention. Must be able to use analytical methodology to report outcomes related to infection prevention and control. Provides data collection, entry extraction, maintenance and analysis in all domains of infection prevention; administration, research and education. Functions as system administrator for infection prevention databases. This position will assist the Director of Infection Prevention to ensure that data, analysis and reporting is done in a timely effective manner. This position will provide administrative support related to clerical and secretarial duties.
Education/Skills:
Bachelor's Degree
Medical Terminology
Literacy in Medical Terminology
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral).
Critical thinking and analytic skills necessary for problem solving and decision making.
Computer literacy required. Previous experience with EPIC, Midas, JCR, NHSN, Excel, Powerpoint, and Word preferred.
