DIRECTOR, CLINICAL OBESITY PROGRAM

BRONX, NY, US


The Division of Endocrinology at Montefiore Einstein is seeking an experienced obesity specialist to lead a clinical center within the newly established and endowed Fleischer Institute for Diabetes and Metabolism. The Director will provide scientific leadership and clinical oversight for a comprehensive obesity treatment program and expand collaborations with Montefiore’s active bariatric surgery and endoscopic bariatric programs. Clinical research opportunities include collaborations with basic and translational investigators in Einstein’s well established Diabetes Research Center, as well as industry sponsored trials.  Training endocrine fellows, residents and students in obesity management and establishment of an obesity fellowship program are key components of the position.

 

Candidates should be board certified in endocrinology and/or obesity and eligible for appointment at the Associate Professor or Professor level.
