DIRECTOR PRACTICE OPERATIONS

BRONX, NY, US


The Director of Practice Operations will report to the Unified Administrator of the Neurology department; and work closely with the Department's Operations Managers, Operations Supervisors, and Program Directors, regarding faculty practice operations. S/He will oversee a wide range of administrative, operational, capital, strategic, quality, practice development, and clinical activities, including patient satisfaction as well as manage faculty practice communication.

Other areas of oversight will include human capital planning/strategy, creation of job descriptions, departmental union contractual compliance, manage personnel investigations, employee engagement, employee retention, direct and coordinate department personnel-related processes in HCM and oversee central maintenance of associate employee files.

The Director will also manage the hiring process including successful on-boarding and ensuring employee participation in professional learning programs.

 

Qualifications/ Requirements

Bachelor's Degree Required; Master's Degree Preferred

5 years of progressive Operations/Management Experience in a Clinical Department

High level of Expertise with Epic functionality

Financial management skills and proficiency -(including mathematical concepts and calculations using Excel)

Experience with working with Union staff and all aspects of HR management
