The Department of Surgery, Division of General Surgery at Montefiore Medical Center is seeking motivated applicants for a faculty position as a General Surgeon in our sister hospitals in Westchester and the Hudson Valley.

The ideal candidate should be collaborative and versed in all aspects of General Surgery including routine open and laparoscopic cases, endoscopy and wound care and the management of complex patient issues.  The candidate will have full support of the Department of Surgery.  Successful applicants will be able to build a strong community-based practice through teamwork with the multispecialty group.

Candidates should be Board Certified/Eligible in General Surgery and have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in General Surgery.  This is an excellent opportunity to build a large General Surgery practice in a well-supported hospital with excellent benefits and the resources of a major academic medical center.
