SUMMARY OF POSITION:
Provide patients enrolled in the Ontrack Early Psychosis program with support and guidance in working towards achieving education and employment goals. Associate will work as part of an interdisciplinary mental health treatment team. Recommended approach is to engage and support the patient and their family in this process through support, advocacy, and collaboration. Associate duties include engaging patients and families, collaborating with team to deliver services within the context OnTrack model, providing job development and job search support, assisting patients with navigating education and employment systems and accessing supports if needed, and engaging in community outreach (encounters with patients, families, and collateral contacts will occur in both the office and community).
**Note: this is a grant funded position.
EDUCATION AND REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's Degree required. Excellent oral/written communication skills; ability to find creative solutions to challenges; prior experience with educational support, job development and employment preparation amongst youth and young adults with mental illness strongly preferred; bilingual Spanish preferred; familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel.
