Provides clients with job readiness services such as resume writing, job search and interviewing techniques. Develops employment and job training opportunities and places clients in appropriate employment, job training or related programs.

Bachelor's Degree required, Master's Degree preferred with a minimum of 2yrs experience in rehabilitation counseling, social work, psychology, educ. or human svces.


1.  Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC) desirable
2.  Knowledge of vocational rehabilitation or psychiatric rehabilitation to promote development of employment goals to facilitate job search in keeping with the abilities and interests of individuals; knowledge of disabilities and barriers to employment as well as accommodations to support the individual to achieve a successful work outcome
3.  Motivational Enhancement techniques to address ambivalence and help clients to pursue employment
4.  Microsoft Office suite (word, excel required) 
5.  Skilled at using the Internet for job search and on line job applications   
6.  Knowledge of workforce development, employment trends, etc. needed to assist clients to develop goals in high demand, high growth industries and to tailor resumes to be successful with placement opportunities
7.  Case management skills to make and track referrals 
8. Ability to work as a member of an interdisciplinary team and across service sectors both within the CMS program and at work activity sites.
