MANAGER CLINICAL III

BRONX, NY, US


In this role, the successful candidate reports to the Assistant Administrator and Director of Finance he/she/they will be responsible for implementing new processes and managing the day-to-day Inventory Operation functions within the Radiology Moses facility.  This includes providing direction to the Clinical Material Handler, identifying and sharing supply chain best practices, and measure and monitor key supply chain metrics.  This position works closely with the Chief Technologists and Nurse Manager, and the purchasing functions of the Procurement team.

 

Responsibilities include:

Manage support staff and have accountability for all medical center supply chain functions at the Moses Campus
Ensure the right amount of  stock to meet the need and also to avoid overstocking item
Report monthly to Assistant Administrator and Director of Finance inventory levels and expenditures
Identify and implement an Inventory Management System
Provide training to support standardization and new system implementation
Maintain high level of customer service with clinical operations
Lead the Value Analysis Committee (VAC) on evaluation of new inventory requests
Round service areas monthly to check in with clinical operations on open issues and improvement opportunities
Evaluate metrics recommended by Association of Healthcare Resources and Materials Management AHRMM  (e.g. Supply Expense as a % of Net Patient Revenue)

 

Required Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree 
3 to 7 years relevant work experience
Exposure to Supply Chain Operations and Lean Six Sigma preferred 
Strong attention to detail and highly accurate
Ability to multitask and manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Excellent organization skills required
