MANAGER MATERIAL DISTRIBUTION

BRONX, NY, US


This position reports directly to the Senior Director of Materials Logistics.  This role is accountable for warehouse materials management including processing receipts, managing warehouse storage associates, warehouse inventory and location accuracy, cycle counts, shelf-life management, product recalls, returns to vendors, managing the forklift safety program, management of commercial drivers and trucks, and management to timely picking, delivery, and tracking of outbound orders.  Perform in a leadership role and work with materials logistics managers and supported units to achieve the desired outcome. Provide solutions, measure outcomes and educate, to make information based decisions.

 

EDUCATION:  High School Diploma. 3 - 5 years work experience in Materials Logistics, either in healthcare or other industry
 

Skills:

 

Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, outlook)
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
-Comfortability with learning new systems and databases
- Knowledge of material handling equipment ( Ex Forklifts) 
-Current Commercial Drivers License (CDL) "B" with air brake endorsement preferred
