OPERATIONS MANAGER

The Operations Manager will support the administering and planning for all current and future staffing and human resources activities within BHC (to include  Administration, HOME Program/BHC 853, BHC 871 Adult/Women’s health and BHC 890/Pediatrics).  

 

Operations Manager will also:

Ensure the effective ongoing operation of the clinic through coordination and direction of operational procedures including staffing issues, vendor services, purchasing, and maintenance of computer and information systems.

Manage the Kronos and SAP processes and provide support to managers.

Interact with the Learning Network, Volunteer & Student Services, Payroll and the CMO.

Oversee and manage all compliance efforts (licenses/certifications renewals, annual assessments and in-service, performance evaluations, probation reports, and job rate changes, 

Ensure BHC associates, managers and directors receive the highest degree of professionalism and service. 

Manage multiple complex processes and issues and be able to troubleshoot, as requested. 

Work as administrative liaison to hospital board to coordinate FQHC agenda items and submission of documents for presentation at board meetings.  Communicate with Montefiore Board of Trustees, as requested by Executive Director.

 

Training Required

Minimum of 3 years office management and personnel experience in a healthcare, nonprofit organization.

 

Should have the following:

Ability to assign duties, prioritize work to be completed,  conduct performance evaluations, train clerical / support staff, and adjust procedures to maximize efficiencies.  Ability to mentor, counsel and discipline staff.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate/interact with executive/senior leadership.

General business office, ambulatory clinic setting, mobile units.
