PEDIATRIC ECHOCARDIOGRAPHY TECHNICIAN

BRONX, NY, US


Pediatric Echocardiography Technician responsibilities include, but not limited to, performing pediatric echocardiograms on populations between 0 to 21 years; fetal echocardiograms on women of all age groups; and echocardiograms on adults with congenital heart disease. 

Performs echocardiograms on fetuses, infants and children for the diagnosis and treatment of heart disease.  

Prepares patients and provides instructions during the echocardiogram. 

This position will travel to multiple locations within The Bronx.

 

EDUCATION AND REQUIREMENTS:

 

- High school diploma/GED required.

- Associate degree preferred. 

- Completion of CAAHEP certified cardiovascular sonography program is preferred.  

- ARDMS in Pediatric Echocardiography required or registry in CCI in congenital cardiac sonography required within one year of hire.   

- BLS is required.
