PEDIATRIC ICU HOUSE PHYSICIAN

The Division of Pediatric Critical Care Medicine in the Department of Pediatrics at The Children’s Hospital at Montefiore (CHAM) and Albert Einstein School of Medicine is seeking candidates to join our ICU house physician faculty. Join a team of 12 collegial physicians and professional support staff.  We are looking for candidates who are energetic and enthusiastic and have the ability to work effectively as part of a team. Work 13- 12 hours shifts each month for a predictable work/life balance.  Candidates must be outstanding clinicians dedicated to the care of hospitalized children and their families. They will be Board Certified/Eligible in general Pediatrics and will maintain BLS and PALS certifications. We encourage our house physician faculty to participate in research and quality improvement initiatives.    

The successful candidate will work day, night, and weekend shifts alongside our excellent Critical Care attendings and fellows. Our 26 bed PICU admits approximately 1,300 patients per year with a full range of medical and surgical conditions.
