PHARMACY MANAGER - INVENTORY & LOGISTICS

This individual is accountable for the management and procurement of pharmaceuticals and supplies for the ambulatory pharmacies of the Montefiore Medical Center.  The individual requires knowledge of medications and supplies needed to operate a pharmacy.  Additional responsibilities include appropriate utilization of storeroom and distribution associates to achieve desired results, problem solving and continuous evaluation of purchasing and inventory systems.  Continuing cost management and service improvement will be a focus of the position.  All of the medication purchasing decisions are made under the supervision of a NYS licensed pharmacist. This individual will assist the Director in time and attendance and scheduling maintenance for the department. In addition, the individual will be involved with interviewing, hiring, orientation, discipline and performance evaluations of pharmacy associates. Work location is 100 Corporate Blvd, Yonkers, NY 10701.

Associates degree. 3 years of related work experience. PTCB certification and NYS Pharmacy Tech license. Knowledge and use of pharmacy management systems. Knowledge of Microsoft Office and general computer literacy. Three years experience in outpatient/retail pharmacy. One year of supervisory or managerial experience. Knowledge of rules and regulations related to the 340B program. (Preferred)
