Outstanding Outpatient Psychologist Positions at Montefiore

 

Montefiore Einstein Psychiatry Associates is a leading New York outpatient faculty group practice of psychiatrists, psychologists and social workers affiliated with the Department of Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences at Montefiore Medical Center and the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. We deliver expert, evidence-based, compassionate consultation and care to individuals across the lifespan from early childhood to older age as well as to families and couples across a variety of specialty programs.  During a time of expansion, the department is rapidly growing our virtual and physical footprint across Westchester County, the Bronx and Manhattan

 

Both within the faculty group practice and across the Montefiore system we also have outstanding opportunities for psychologists with specialized interests in adult, pediatrics, school health, eating disorders, addictions, cancer care and transplant.

 

We provide a flexible, supportive and collegial structure to allow our faculty to deliver outstanding care.  There are opportunities for teaching and supervision of Albert Einstein College of Medicine medical students and Montefiore Medical Center house staff, as well as opportunities for collaboration in research.

 

Academic appointments are available commensurate with qualifications. Psychology candidates should possess a PhD/PsyD in Clinical or Counseling Psychology from an APA/PCSAS-accredited graduate program and be licensed or license-eligible in New York State.

Successful candidates should have a doctoral degree in psychology (PhD/PsyD) from an APA-accredited program and have completed an APA-approved internship. Licensure as a psychologist in the State of New York is required.  We are particularly interested in candidates an emphasis in counseling children and families who face life threatening and life limiting conditions.
