PHYSICAL THERAPIST-WAKEFIELD

SUMMARY OF POSTION:

 

Provides physical therapy to patients to improve mobility, relieve pain,or help to restore function. Evaluates patients, assesses equipment, and develops treatment plans and programs.

Incumbent will provide direct patient care including evaluation and treatment as outlined by the guidelines of the New York State Physical Therapy Practice Act and Hospital Policy. Provide daily clinical supervision to P. T. A.’s, Rehabilitation Aides and students.  Incumbent should embrace the team concept of the department and the customer service approach to patient care. 

 

 Schedule is SUNDAY through THURSDAY.  Can choose 4 or 5 day work week.

 

EDUCATION AND REQUIREMENTS:

 

B.S. degree or Certificate in Physical Therapy

New York State License and current registration or a Limited Permit for a recent graduate.
