Part-time Associates who have completed their probationary period can move to full-time vacancies within their department provided such movement will not unreasonably reduce the operational efficiency of that department. Probationary period is three (3) months for full-time employees, and four (4) months for part-time employees who works more than 3/5 of the normal workweek.
Montefiore Center for Heart and Vascular Care seeks enthusiastic Interventional Cardiology Physician Assistant (PA) to join their dynamic team. This role will be responsible for management of our Diagnostic and Interventional (Coronary Angioplasty and Structural Heart) patients in an outpatient and inpatient setting.

Responsibilities include:
Performing history and physical exams with review of pertinent lab data
Obtaining informed consent for procedures
Managing and discharging pre and post procedure patients in the Ambulatory Heart Center
Managing designated post interventional patients in a telemetry unit and expediting their next day discharge
Position is based at the Moses Campus. May move between campuses as necessary.
**3-day work week, 12.5 hrs shifts: 10am-10:30 pm.- Tuesday- Thursday but may change to Monday or Friday depending on schedule· No weekends, no on call**
Education/Skills required:
Bachelor’s degree required
Graduate of an accredited PA program
Physician Assistant License by New York State and certified by the National Commission on the Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
