Serve as the educational coordinator for the 4 residency tracks of the Department of Family and Social Medicine (DFSM) -- Family Medicine, Social Pediatrics, Social Internal Medicine, and Preventive Medicine – and serve as the primary assistant to the Program Director of the Preventive Medicine Residency Program. This position is responsible for designing, implementing and coordinating curriculum, evaluation, and educational scholarship projects across the continuum of medical education within DFSM. Specific areas of responsibility include residency education, including support of the social medicine curriculum and faculty development, and administering the Preventive Medicine Residency Program as outlined in the Accreditation Council of Graduate Medical Education (ACGME).  Experience in medical education; ability with project direction or project management;ability with program evaluation'; Knowledge and experience with quantitative and qualitative research ; Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem solving skills'; Effective and well developed communication and collaboration skills; Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously; High level organizational skills.

Duties performed require extensive knowledge of the activities of the organization, programs, policies, and procedures of the residencies and institution. It is essential for the employee to have the ability to exercise discretion in handling sensitive and confidential information. The candidate will have the vision and ability to manage and support faculty and residents in medical education. The candidate will have a working knowledge of educational scholarship, program management and evaluation, experience with clinician-educators, and a background in epidemiology and health education. Experience working both with educational curriculum, evaluation surveys and community health settings.


Master's degree required with a minimum of 5 years experience
