PROGRAM SUPERVISOR

Under the general direction of the Program Manager for Bronx Health Collective Research, the Project Supervisor for the Resiliency Initiative will provide daily oversight of all Resiliency Initiative (RI) activities. The RI provides social support to families served by BHC’s cluster of health centers both domiciled and those experiencing homelessness. The RI targets patients and families of young children 5 years of age and under with the aim of mitigating social stressors, fostering positive parenting and raising healthy and resilient children who are school ready and can reach their full potential.
The RI achieves these aims through a number of programs including:
1.Group prenatal and well child primary care
2. Social determinant of health screening and follow-up services
3. Homelessness risk assessments for families of young children
4. Mental health interventions such as Child Parent Psychotherapy and Parent-Infant Video Dyadic therapy among other programs
5. Universal 3k/PreK Initiative to enroll young children in high-quality preschool programs
6. Early childhood literacy program
This position will be instrumental in the development of a newly proposed Resource Center and Legal Health (medical-legal partnership) program that will help families access needed resources to promote the well-being of families and their children.
Knowledge required
1) Health education experience, ideally in a group format
2) Data management and analysis experience with Excel or SPSS or other data system. Experience with RedCap and Sequel preferred.
3) Experience in maternal child health programming preferred.
4) Experience with research and grant/manuscript writing preferred
Education
Master's Degree in Public Health required
MPH in program planning, data analytics, or epidemiology preferred.
